US Foods Virtual Zoom Meeting

This months host and presenters from US Foods are Christina Livers Restaurant Operations Consultant and Chef Kealan O’Boyle US Foods Food Fanatic Chef. 

The Educational Topic is: “The Evolution of the Culinary World”.

Last month’s meeting covered Ghost Kitchens and Takeout Strategies. We were even treated to a few live testimonials from www.epicburgerskc.com and www.thainowkc.com. The entire presentation was very innovative and enlightening! The strategies and support US Foods offers their customer base is fantastic.

During the February meeting Chef Jerry Marcellus MS, CCE,HAAC Interim Director Hospitality Management Programs at JCCC will announce the 2020 Chef Apprentice of the year.

The nominees this year are Hannah Baugh from Nicklaus Golf Course at Lions Gate and Cecilia Knight from Rye Leawood Restaurant. 

The Apprentice of the Year Award is sponsored by Ambrosi Brothers Cutlery.
