Congratulations goes out to all of you as our chapter was given a Chapter Achievement Award and an award for 2019 Central Region Chapter of the Year!
The Chapter Achievement Award honors those that strive for the highest level of excellence in all areas of chapter life: serving their members and their communities well while supporting AFC’s programs.
Several Central Region ACF Chapters were given an Achievement Award but due to our entire membership’s effort, we were awarded with the 2019 Central Region Chapter of the Year!
Chef Jim Tinkham and Chef Jesse Vega proudly accepted the awards on behalf of the chapter.
The Chef Connect conference was full of great educational demonstrations and a world-wide melting pot of food samplings. In attendance were Chefs Mark Webster, Jim Tinkham, Ronna Keck, and Jesse Vega.
It was great to see so many of our friends and supporters like The Kansas Beef Council, Smithfield Pork, Libbey Glass, Sara Lee and Jennie O – just to name a few.
